This roundtable discussion with Bohdan Tokarskyi (EUTIM / U Potsdam), Annette Werberger (Europa-Universität Viadrina), and Margaret Litvin (Boston U) is part of the workshop “Arab-Soviet Internationalism – Socialist Internationalism, International Organizations and the Politics of Revolution in the 20th and 21st Centuries” at the Forum Transregionale Studien, 13-15 July 2022.

The workshop “Arab-Soviet Internationalism – Socialist Internationalism, International Organizations and the Politics of Revolution in the 20th and 21st Centuries” is convened by Elizabeth Bishop (Texas State University), Andreas Hilger (German Historical Institute Moscow), Jeffrey G. Karam (Lebanese American University / EUME Fellow of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation 2021-22), and Sana Tannoury-Karam (EUME Fellow 2020-22). It is a cooperation between the German Historical Institute in Moscow and Europe in the Middle East – The Middle East in Europe (EUME), a research program at the Berlin-based Forum Transregionale Studien.
